Sweet Beat Café is planet-first independent cafe offering inventive and creative plant-based dishes, pouring 3FE coffee from day break til the close of business, on the bustling corner of Bridge Street in Sligo town overlooking the Garavogue River. 

After trading at food markets in Sligo and South Africa, and training at Ballymaloe Cookery School, Carolanne Rushe opened the doors to Sweet Beat Café in 2015 providing a new home for fresh and healthy plant-based food in Sligo. 

Today, we showcase local and organic produce from growers in the Northwest; our menu offers a distinctive selection of dishes featuring innovative recipes with inspiration collected from travels across the globe. 

Sweet Beat Café is a proud to be included in the 2020 McKenna's Guides and a member of Sligo Food Trail.
